Final Farewell by AOTG

 This service was born from a deeply personal place. On August 4, 2025, when my beloved grandmother passed away, I was asked to do her makeup for her funeral. At first, I was hesitant, unsure if I could carry the weight of such an intimate and emotional request (Although she loved when I did her make up, if you knew Joyce, this ask came with pressure!)  But when I accepted, I realized what an incredible honor it was to be trusted with her final presentation. That experience opened my heart and gave me a new understanding of how important it is for families to see their loved ones at peace, looking as though they are simply resting.

On that same day, while at the funeral home, another family approached me with a request to redo their loved one 's makeup. They wanted to send them off looking more alive and natural. Being able to give them that final image of serenity, dignity and peace in one of the most painful moments was but humbling and affirming! It was then I knew this work was not just a job but a calling. 

 

With Final Farewell by AOTG, I bring that same care, compassion, and respect to every family I serve. My goal is to restore a natural, serene appearance helping your loved one look as if they are peacefully asleep rather than departed. This final touch is my way of honoring both their life and the love they leave behind, giving families a comforting memory to hold onto.
